Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)

GoI – MoE & AICTE launched the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) initiative – a major flagship program in 2018 to systematically promote the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem in higher education institutions. The primary goal of this council is to inspire, encourage and nurture the young students for different activities involved in pre-incubation, incubation and making successful start-ups.

About MVGR IIC (IC202221071)

MVGR in association with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India established ‘MHRD’s Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in the year 2020 to promote different activities related to innovation, IPR, start-up, and entrepreneurship. Faculties and students are members of IIC. Primarily, IICs’ role is to engage large number of students and faculty in various innovation and entrepreneurship related activities such as ideation, problem solving, proof of concept development, design thinking, IPR & patenting, project handling and management during pre-incubation/incubation stage, etc., so that innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem gets established and stabilized in the college.
